Currently, physical versions are not in stock for the Xbox One, while digital codes are not available for either PlayStation console. The massive 52% discount is the largest discount to date for Square Enix’s latest action-RPG.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin puts players in the shoes of Jack Garland, a young man leading his friends on a quest to restore light to the kingdom of Cornelia. Including the Final Fantasy job system alongside Dark Souls-like action-RPG gameplay helped to make the game a unique addition to the historic Final Fantasy franchise. Jobs, characters, bosses, and enemies include callbacks to the very first game in the series.
While Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin received mostly middle-of-the-road reviews, post-launch DLC has breathed new life into the game. The recent Wanderer of the Rift expansion added additional character jobs and a climatic duel with the classic Final Fantasy recurring villain Gilgamesh. One last expansion pack has been announced, “Different Future,” which currently has no release date. Fans of the franchise have praised the first two expansion packs as being fantastic additions to the base game despite the difficulty of the new bosses.
