AMD is a computer chip manufacturer founded as early as 1969 as Advanced Micro Devices. While the company has been in collaboration with Intel, it is best known as the alternative option for both CPUs and GPUs. In terms of graphics cards, AMD has competed against the world’s largest GPU manufacturer Nvidia since the acquisition of ATI in 2006. In recent years, AMD is considered to be a very close competitor for the top spot in both sectors.

This AMD chip, the Ryzen 7 5700G is part of the Cezanne series of processors from the company. This series is considered to be technically APUs instead of CPUs. This means that they have some added graphical capabilities over regular CPUs. While APUs are not as good at graphics computing as dedicated GPUs, they are better than motherboard-integrated graphics. This doesn’t mean that the system can’t have a dedicated GPU to override the APU graphics.
